Corporate Security Analyst II

*THIS POSITION IS BASED IN SAO PAULO, BRAZIL*

**BILINGUAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH/PORTUGUESE REQUIRED**

Job Summary:
This position will work within our Information Security team to ensure program objectives, policies, procedures, standards and approach align to meet the business objectives of BCD Travel. This position will assist with the coordination and facilitation of security governance across the organization.

The ideal candidate must understand and interpret Legal, Regulatory and contractual requirements across multiple industries and regions focusing on Data Privacy and Information Security in the maintenance of our information security governance framework. The individual will possess good oral and written communication skills and have the ability to leverage skills and expertise within information security to develop and convey the appropriate message internal and external to BCD Travel.

Job Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with the development and execution of security governance framework
- Ensures strategic alignment of security program to business objectives
- Drafts and develops briefs and business cases detailing information security actions.
- Develops and facilitates the creation of security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Facilitates integration of business assurance functions and cross organizational partnerships
- Develops, monitors and reports on security process effectiveness
- Coordinates with Legal to review contracts and clauses related to information security
- Reviews, documents, and tests Information Security controls for suitability
- Assesses and communicates security control strengths and weaknesses with stakeholders
- Assists with updating and providing information security responses for clients where necessary
- Participates in future security planning with both the business and technical teams
- Assists with incident response activities and operate as incident coordinator where necessary
- Monitors and assists with Information Security support desk
- Stays current with industry trends relating to Information Security
- Performs other information security projects / duties as needed

Transferable Skills:
- Strong conceptual understanding of Information Security theory
- Strong knowledge of security policy, procedure, standards and guidelines
- Strong multi-tasking and analytical/troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong demonstration of professionalism and teamwork
- Working experience in ISO 27000:2005 or other security governance frameworks (COBIT, etc)
- Working experience in meeting with internal and external clients stakeholders to discuss and address security concerns.
- Working knowledge of EU / Safe Harbor requirements
- Working knowledge in troubleshooting information security-related problems and incidents
- Working knowledge of anti-virus systems, vulnerability management, and violation monitoring - Working knowledge of security, audit, and control methods and concepts
- Working knowledge of security architecture including encryption, firewalls, and VPNs
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and IT Infrastructure security,
- Proficient in MS-Office suite of products
- Professional, team oriented

Qualifications:
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.), or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Security, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, International business or related curriculum
- Aptitude to prioritize and load balance sensitive projects concurrently
- Strong organizational, time management, decision making, and problem solving skills
- Professional certifications from ISACA, (ISC)2, or SANS strongly preferred
- 3 years of relevant general Information Technology experience desired
- Experience with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 27001:2005 registration a plus
Preferred
- 2 years of audit and control or privacy experience preferred
