Global Agency Engagement Manager

CCRA Travel Solutions, an international leader in travel industry marketing and technology products for agencies and suppliers is currently seeking a candidate for the position of Global Agency Engagement Manager to lead the agency engagement effort on behalf of CCRA’s Global Network Division. This individual will be responsible for maintaining an on-going dialogue with CCRA’s North American and International agencies and agency groups and increase awareness and revenues of CCRA’s products and services.

Reports To:                 Pam Miller, Sr. Director – Global Network Division

Location:                     Virtual

BASIC PURPOSE:

     · Enhancing all facets of business relationship between CCRA and global agency partners

 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • · Agency relations
  • · Aggressive sales growth
  • · Strategic planning
  • · Trade Show organization
  • · Budget accountability
  • · Other duties, as assigned

NATURE AND SCOPE:

Assignment, Review and Approval of Work:

  • · Work will be assigned, reviewed and approved by the Sr. Director, Global Network Division, or a designated manager

Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:

  • · Direct sales performance
  • · Direct marketing efforts including product positioning, market segmentation, pricing and marketing communications
  • · Define new needs and opportunities within the industry
  • · Awareness of pricing strategies consistent with profit requirements, overall business plan objectives, competition and market conditions
  • · Develop solid working relationship with global agency networks to facilitate the use of current products and services and the introduction of new    services  
  • · Develop customer accounts across market segments

Internal/External Relationships:

  • · Interaction and communication with agency clients, management, suppliers and peers
  • · Transfer of knowledge and skills to peers and clients
  • · Team player/Collaborative

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • · 4-year college degree preferred

 Desirable Qualifications:

  • · Industry designations (CTC, CTA, CTIE, etc.)

Direct Knowledge:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • · Knowledge of inner workings of global Consortia
  • · Familiar with most common products and services needed by agencies in various global markets
  •   Participation in trade shows
  • · Must be on top of market / industry developments
  • · Extensive experience in global travel industry
  • · Similar previous responsibilities
  • · History of developing and implementing successful, written sales plans
  • · Successful background in managing and motivating a small sales team
  • · Fluency in second language preferred

 Desirable Qualifications:

  • · Multinational experience
  • · Implemented global products and services on a large scale

Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • · 8-10 years of successful experience working with large agency groups or consortia
  • · Strong sales process, organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • · Proven intellectual and analytical capabilities to identify unique markets or business segments and to take the lead in developing
      business models
  • · Presentation and communication skills necessary to provide clear, concise product, company and market information to the customer
      base and, in certain situations other industry groups
  • · Excellent ability to network and create loyal relationships
  • · Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite  products

Desirable Qualifications:

  • · 8-10 years in a management role

Special Requirements:

  • · Possession of excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • · Possession of excellent client communication skills
  • · Availability for travel
