Business Operations Americas - Sales Operations Agent

MISSION STATEMENT 

Singapore Airlines delivers exceptional, World-class customer service through any SIA channel to all our Travel Trade partners

CRITIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Accurate and timely response and resolutions to the Travel Trade regarding customer concerns through usage of company systems. 

Deliver accurate and updated passenger reservation information through yield management, identified Travel Trade procedures and call calibration participation.  

Apply SIA Policy and Procedures to assist the Travel Trade to provide customers a world class experience on Singapore Airlines

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

  • Apply optimal customer servicing through any company communication channel with focused attention to clear, concise and well-organized plain English language writing / communication when responding to the Travel Trade, customer concerns or any SIA department.
  • Participate in trainings on-line or instructor-led / designated disciplines to maximize opportunities to support customer service and sales opportunities. 
  • Highlight processes and operational procedures requiring streamlining for servicing or workflow efficiencies
  • Work to achieve performance targets as designated by Local Management
  • Willingness to address / apply efficient solutions to a wide range of trade and customer concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to focus on relevant concerns while under pressure and communicate clear actions for accurate and timely resolutions
  • Promote a professional working relationship within SIA Departments, Travel Trade partners and Call Centers through any communication source 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff or SIA Management
  • Administrative duties include responsible timely attendance notifications / HR updates, and assisting to compile relevant team servicing data 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

  • Efficient time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and IBM Connection Cloud
  • Amadeus: Altea Reservations Desktop (ARD), Customer Management (CM), Altea Group Management (AGM) and/or SAP skills –  preferred
  • Customer service experience - a plus
  • High school education or similar – preferred
  • Willing to work weekends, overtime and work patterns as required
