Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line is looking for an experienced, full-time Manager, Sales & Sales Operations to join our team. Successful candidates should have extensive knowledge and experience in travel trade sales and sales operations. The candidate must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director, Sales and Partner Relations and liaise broadly with department heads across the organization.


  • Manage the process of registering new travel agents in the reservations and accounting systems and ensuring that trade databases are accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and deliver meaningful reporting for senior leadership, the sales team and travel advisors.
  • Provide sales support by being the leader in making the company ‘easy to do business with’ the travel trade.
  • Manage and organize contracts and payments against commercial agreements with travel partners, media partners and wholesale operators.
  • Ensure that all commercial agreements are properly built in the reservations system for invoicing, reporting and payments.
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person for the field sales team for any and all support they may need to sell Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
  • Be the liaison between sales and the global trade desk.
  • Assist director in providing key/national account marketing support, webinars, seminars-at-sea and shipboard luncheons as required.
  • Manage trade email calendar and message creation and distribution.
  • Be the secondary contact with all trade media partners and the marketing team.
  • Schedule, create and promote one national trade webinar per month, hosted by the senior leadership team.
  • Schedule, create and manage contracts across annual ‘road show’ program, including hotel contracts, invitations, payments and attendee guarantees.
  • Be secondary contact with with industry partners including BMOT, ASTA, NACTA, CLIA and PATH. Organize sales team participation in partner events.
  • Actively participate in the delivery and maintenance of CRM.
  • Assist director in managing all travel agency relationships in Canada and in states outside of Florida.
  • Deliver efficiency by recommending process improvement.
  • Special projects as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in travel trade sales role, preferably in the cruise industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Strong organizational & project management skills
  • Analytical expertise & budgeting skills
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with CRM reporting and management
  • Cvent meetings management tool super-user
