We are looking for a dedicated and analytical VP, Sales to join our organization. The responsibilities of the VP, Sales include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services.

To be successful as a VP, Sales, you should have good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. Ultimately, a top-notch VP, Sales should have an in-depth knowledge of the leisure travel market and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The preferred candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas:

  • Five to seven years in an executive (V.P.) level role.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with sales technology and CRM software.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • A quick learner, especially regarding the leisure travel business.
  • Ability to travel 40-50%
  • Possesses the appropriate levels of business, financial, and technological savvy.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint




The Vice President of Sales is also responsible for the following:

  • Develops, manages, and guides sales activities for the organization.
  • Proposes and executes policies and programs to achieve maximum sales volume potential for products and/or services.
  • Designs, applies and refines sales strategy and sales plans as the agency/advisor community grows and transforms.
  • Creates, communicates and implements vision and strategy at both the organization and department level.


  • Collaborates with the Executive Team to develop organizational goals and aligns them with department level goals.
  • Forms, facilitates, and leads high achieving teams.
  • Identifies, retains, deploys and develops talent to secure the future leadership of the organization.
  • Understands and capitalizes on the use of new technology to improve processes and remain competitive.
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with the executive leadership in global selling offices.
  • Identifies new and creative opportunities to grow the travel agency channel.
  • Achieves financial objectives and business results.
  • Contributing to a team effort by collaborating with the Executive Team to accomplish results or projects as needed.
  • This position requires travel including nights and weekends.



The preferred candidate will hold a Master’s degree in a related field; or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
