Marketing & Social Media Specialist 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, results driven digital marketer to align our digital content with the World Spree brand. This unique and exciting position will be responsible for the written and visual content behind our online communications and will play a key role in managing our social media presence. That includes occasional trips on tour to snap footage! 

We are looking for talents with a balance/blend of all the following qualifications:

  • Marketing Specialist (solid experience must)
  • Copywriter (exceptional writing and communication skills must)
  • Social media specialist (superb qualification must)
  • Graphic designer (at least intermediate level)
  • Photographer/Videographer, an asset

Your primary responsibilities would include:

  • Implement marketing strategies, via conventional and digital marketing, to help build awareness around the World Spree brand and increase customer engagement
  • Content Writing–Proof writing/reading. Content writing for tour itineraries, trip descriptions for WS tour products, publications and website content, etc.
  • Collaborate with various team members to ensure digital assets are delivered in a timely manner
  • Media collection and creation. Taking photos and videos while on WS tours to our trip destinations. Edit photos and videos and post them to our photo and video social media sites. Also responsible to collect photos, videos and information about the tour destinations and hotels to create our own media gallery
  • Maintenance and optimization of website, regularly updating visual and written content
  • Social Media Management: Manage WS social media accounts: FB, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.
  • Customer interaction: interact with customers for their feedbacks, advice on improvements and reflect/share their happy experience on social media

 

Key Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years of related professional experience in a coordinator/specialist capacity
  • Exceptional copywriting ability and communication skills
  • Experienced with MS Office Suite
  • Comfortable producing various forms of media (Photography, Design, and Videography)
  • Experience with Adwords/Facebook advertising
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Experience in tourism an asset but not a requirement

Key Duties:

  •       Assistance in designing and creating tour products to the target destinations.
  •       Work with local DMCs, hotels and suppliers for purchasing and contracting.
  •       Liaison with local DMCs and suppliers for inventory management and tour operations.
  •       Train inhouse sales and reservations with destination tour programs.
  •       Provide outstanding customer service in assisting clients with booking enquiries.
  •       Ability to close sales and hit targets.
  •       Offer excellent post booking support for cancellations, insurance, and special requests.
  •       Deal with adhoc tailormade group bookings.
  •       Use your knowledge and expertise to assist other staff members.
  •       Where necessary assist with enquiries to other destinations.
  •       Handle group departure cancellation and consolidation
  •       Work closely in collaboration with other departments and overseas agents.

Key Requirements:

  •       Minimum of 5year extensive work experience of selling trips to the target destinations.

Operations & Reservations Manager

We are looking for experienced travel professional to lead and manage the operations and reservations teams for World Spree Travel at our Seattle Washington office. The successful candidate will be tasked with maximizing sales, ensuring consistent delivery of high quality service to our customers and be an instrumental part of the company’s planned growth.

Key Duties:

  •       Provide leadership & motivation to the Sales team so sales are maximized and targets achieved.
  •       Ensure the highest possible level of service is provided to the customer.
  •       Liaise with our local operators to ensure tours run smoothly and itinerary information provided to clients is accurate and comprehensive.
  •       Manage post departure customer relations to appease disappointed customers and provide quality control feedback to the product team.
  •       Handle customer complaints and other service issues.
  •       Work closely in collaboration with other departments.
  •       General team management, including coaching/mentoring and recruitment.

Key Requirements:

  •       Tour operator experience, preferably at a managerial level.
  •       Well-developed planning, organizational, negotiating and decisionmaking skills.
  •       Excellent written and verbal communication.
  •       Good IT knowledge including MS Office programs.
  •      Excellent customer service experience and skills
  •       Well-Travelled.

Experienced travel professional required to manage the air product for World Spree Travel. The successful candidate will work closely with airline partners and also lead a project to develop our online booking engine. 

Key Duties:

  •       Maintain and develop good relationships with our airline partners.
  •       Negotiate competitive rates and allocations.
  •       Manage the relationship with our air consolidator partner.
  •       Project manage the development of our online booking engine.
  •       Monitor customer feedback on our air partners.

 

Key Requirements:

  •       Air background required either with tour operator or airline.
  •       Strong technical knowledge with a good understanding of CRS (preferably Sabre).
  •       Project management experience.
  •       Good negotiation skills and ability to work closely with partners.
  •       Good IT knowledge including Microsoft programs.
