Area Sales Manager, East Coast

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain and enhance contract and relationships in a specific sale territory
  • Call on accounts with the goal of conducting sales presentations to tour operators, travel agencies, consolidators and consumers
  • Performs periodic updates and professional presentations to tour operator/ consolidator reservation, group and sales staff
  • Organize and manage joint calls with the sales staff of preferred suppliers and hoteliers
  • Solicit group and individual business, provide group quotes to follow up on status of booked groups
  • Manage and coordinate Air Tahiti Nui’s attendance and participates in trade shows, consumer shows and seminars solely and in conjunction with industry partners
  • Participates in familiarization trips solely, and in conjunction with industry partners

Required Profile: To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are represented by the candidate’s knowledge, skill and/or ability which require analytical, problem solving, project management and leadership skills in a sales environment. The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary:  $58,500/annum, depending on experience
